Our beginner's Detailing Essentials: Basics to Profitability class, taught by industry pros, will give you the business skills and hands-on training you need to hit the ground running. Packed into just two days, you'll be back in the shop making money in no time!
Day 1:
Discover the entrepreneurial mindset and its relevance to the detailing industry with "What is an Entrepreneur." Beginning with an introduction to shop supplies, layout, and products, learn the fundamentals of efficient detailing shop operation. Master the art of washing and preparing vehicles, and explore the various services and add-ons that can be offered to potential customers. During the lunch break, recharge and network with other participants. Dive into the intricacies of interior detailing, including techniques for cleaning, conditioning, and protection. Finally, put your newfound knowledge to use in a hands-on setting, working on real vehicles under the supervision of our instructors. Engage in a Q&A session to address any lingering questions or concerns.
Day 2:
Learn effective sales strategies, pricing structures, and how to create a compelling service menu. Understand the importance of proper shop supplies, layout, and product selection with our in-depth review. Discover the fundamentals of paint correction and machine polishing. Put your new knowledge to the test in a hands-on workshop under the guidance of our expert instructors. Take a break and refuel with lunch, then progress to intermediate paint correction techniques and witness a live demo of applying a Last Step Product (LSP) or ceramic coating for a stunning finish. In our open shop session, practice advanced paint correction techniques and experiment with LSP or ceramic coating application. Clarify any doubts or queries in a final Q&A session, and receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
You will leave our training equipped with valuable knowledge, practical experience, and confidence to embark on a successful detailing journey.
